Directorate of School Education Kashmir has announced a change in school timings across the Kashmir division, effective from April 1, 2026.
According to the order, schools within Srinagar municipal limits will function from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, while schools outside Srinagar city, including other areas of Kashmir province, will operate from 9:30 AM to 3:30 PM.
The directive applies to both government and recognized private schools, and authorities have instructed all institutions to strictly follow the revised schedule without any deviation.
