Srinagar, January 2: Addressing the ongoing controversy surrounding the “Fire and Emergency Recruitment Scam,” Chief Minister Omar Abdullah has called for patience, emphasizing the need to allow the investigation process to conclude without interference.
In a press conference, the Chief Minister stated, “We also want justice, but let the investigation process be completed. Deserving candidates shall get justice.” He reassured the public that the government is committed to ensuring fairness and transparency in addressing the allegations of irregularities in the recruitment process.
The scam, which has sparked widespread protests from affected candidates, is under investigation to determine the legitimacy of recruitment practices and address complaints of favoritism. The Chief Minister urged the public to trust the investigation and reiterated that all deserving candidates would be treated fairly under the law.
The public now awaits the completion of the investigation and the government’s subsequent action to restore trust in the recruitment system.
