Rajouri Dec 24 (JKNS):- Five doctors on duty in the casualty and gynecology departments of AHGMC Rajouri have been suspended after the tragic death of a pregnant woman on December 23.
The woman, who had recently lost three children due to a highly infectious pathogen in the Badhaal area of Rajouri, succumbed under questionable circumstances.
An official told JKNS that explanations have been sought from two consultants (on call) and seven pharmacists and nurses who were on night duty.
Authorities are investigating the incident to ascertain accountability and prevent future lapses.
