{"id":95896,"date":"2026-07-22T16:44:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-22T11:14:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/?p=95896"},"modified":"2026-07-22T16:44:28","modified_gmt":"2026-07-22T11:14:28","slug":"2-killed-5-injured-after-shooting-stone-hits-tempo-in-ramsoo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/index.php\/2026\/07\/22\/2-killed-5-injured-after-shooting-stone-hits-tempo-in-ramsoo\/","title":{"rendered":"2 killed, 5 injured after shooting stone hits tempo in Ramsoo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ramban, July 22 (KNO): Two persons were killed and others injured after a shooting stone hit a passenger tempo on the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway near Ramsoo in Ramban district on Wednesday, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Officials told the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that the shooting stone struck the tempo amid continuous rainfall, causing extensive damage to the vehicle.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They said several passengers were injured in the incident and were immediately rescued and shifted to the Primary Health Centre (PHC) Ramsoo and other nearby hospitals.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Officials said two of the injured later succumbed to their injuries, while the condition of the remaining is being monitored.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Rescue teams, assisted by police and local volunteers, carried out the evacuation operation.
