Bijbehara, June 22, KNT: A 10-year-old girl died after sustaining a severe neck injury while playing on the roof of her house in the Gadiseer area of Bijbehara in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Monday.<\/p>\n

The deceased has been identified as Tafheeda Khursheed, daughter of Khursheed Ahmad Dar, a resident of Gadiseer, Bijbehara.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
According to officials, the minor sustained a critical neck injury while playing on the rooftop of her residence. Family members immediately rushed her to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Bijbehara for treatment.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
However, despite efforts by doctors, the girl succumbed to her injuries, officials said.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The body was lying at SDH Bijbehara at the time of filing, while medico-legal formalities were being completed.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The incident has left the family and local residents in shock and mourning.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
