Ganderbal, Jan 20 (KNC): Jammu & Kashmir Director General of Police, Nalin Prabhat, IPS, on Tuesday chaired a high-level security review meeting at the District Police Office, Ganderbal, assessing law-and-order management, counter-terror operations, and Republic Day preparedness.<\/p>\n

DGP emphasized zero tolerance against anti-national activities, robust intelligence-based operations, and a people-friendly policing approach, while lauding the Ganderbal Police for their professionalism and dedication.<\/p>\n

As per news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC, DGP Prabhat, chaired a comprehensive Security Review Meeting at the District Police Office (DPO), Ganderbal to assess the prevailing security scenario and operational preparedness of the district.<\/p>\n

The meeting was attended by Shri S.J.M. Gillani, IPS, Special DGP Coordination, IGP Kashmir Zone Shri V.K. Birdi, IPS; DIG Central Kashmir Range Shri Rajiv Pandey IPS; SSP Ganderbal Shri Khalil Ahmad Poswal, JKPS, besides GOs, SHOs and DOs of Ganderbal Police.<\/p>\n

During the meeting, the DGP took a detailed review of law and order management, counter-terrorism preparedness, crime control measures, and security arrangements for Republic Day\u20132026. He stressed heightened alertness, foolproof security planning, intensified area domination, and robust intelligence-based operations to ensure peaceful and incident-free celebrations.<\/p>\n

Addressing the officers, Shri Nalin Prabhat, IPS, issued clear directions to deal firmly and decisively with anti-national elements who pose a threat to public safety, peace, and tranquility. He stressed zero tolerance towards activities inimical to national security and urged officers to intensify operations against such elements while maintaining a people-friendly approach.<\/p>\n
