Srinagar, Dec 4: Kashmir continued to reel under severe cold conditions as night temperatures plummeted across the Valley on Wednesday, with several stations recording sub-zero levels, weather data showed.<\/p>\n
Srinagar settled at minus 4.0\u00b0C, while neighbouring Pampore recorded minus 5.0\u00b0C and Pulwama remained the coldest in the region at minus 5.6\u00b0C. Pahalgam, Anantnag and Baramulla registered minus 4.8\u00b0C each. Gulmarg recorded minus 1.0\u00b0C, while Kokernag stayed comparatively higher at minus 0.8\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
Kupwara recorded minus 3.2\u00b0C, Budgam minus 4.2\u00b0C, Bandipora minus 3.9\u00b0C, Ganderbal minus 2.6\u00b0C and Awantipora minus 4.0\u00b0C. Sonamarg settled at minus 3.6\u00b0C, while Zojila Pass remained the coldest point with the mercury plunging to minus 17.0\u00b0C, according to Kashmir Weather. Zethan Rafiabad recorded minus 4.6\u00b0C.<\/p>\n

In the Jammu region, weather remained relatively mild, with Jammu recording 8.0\u00b0C and Katra 8.4\u00b0C. Banihal and Udhampur settled at 2.1\u00b0C and 3.0\u00b0C, respectively, while Bhaderwah recorded 0.4\u00b0C. Samba registered 3.3\u00b0C, Rajouri 1.7\u00b0C, and Kathua 7.2\u00b0C.<\/p>\n
Ladakh continued in deep freeze, with Leh recording minus 9.0\u00b0C, Kargil minus 7.8\u00b0C and Nubra Valley minus 7.6\u00b0C.
