Jammu, Nov 27: Jammu and Kashmir Police today arrested a man from Bathindi area here for his alleged involvement in terror-related activities.<\/p>\n

Officials said Mohammad Sajid, a resident of Reasi, currently living in Bathindi, was detained around 9 pm near a graveyard on Sunjwan Road by a team of Police Post Bathindi and PC Jammu led by incharge Police Post concerned, Basharat Hussain.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
They said Sajid was walking from Bathindi towards Jalalabad and tried to flee after spotting the police party.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was, however, chased and apprehended,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
During his personal search, the police recovered a mobile phone from his possession.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Officials said the preliminary examination of the device revealed incriminating material, including suspicious chats on the Session app and WhatsApp.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Sajid was subsequently booked in FIR number 331\/2025 under section 113(3) of the BNS at Police Station Bahu Fort, and further investigation has been started.<\/p>\n
