DARBHANGA, Nov 5: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Tuesday warned Pakistan-sponsored terrorists to refrain from further attacking India, asserting that if they repeat the mistake, \u201cgoli ka jawab goley se diya jayega\u201d (they will face cannons for bullets).<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Explosives manufactured in Bihar\u2019s proposed defence corridor will be used against these terrorists, he said.<\/p>\n

\u201cTerrorists from Pakistan attacked our citizens in Pahalgam. They wiped off Sindoor from the foreheads of our mothers and sisters. Prime Minister Narendra Modi avenged it by launching Operation Sindoor within 20 days. The Indian Army neutralised the terrorists on Pakistan\u2019s land,\u201d Shah said at a poll rally in Bihar.<\/p>\n

He also said, \u201cThe PM is setting up a Defence Corridor in Bihar. If Pakistan-sponsored terrorists repeat their mistake, \u2018goli ka jawab goley se diya jayega\u2019 (they will face cannons for bullets).\u201d<\/p>\n

The cannons to be used against terrorists will be made in Bihar, Shah said.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

\u201cUnlike the previous Congress regime, the Government under Modi\u2019s leadership is committed to the safety and security of the nation,\u201d he alleged.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Shah launched a blistering attack on RJD supremo Lalu Prasad and his son Tejashwi Yadav for \u201craising slogans in the praise of late Mohammad Shahabuddin\u201d, who was accused of unleashing terror in Siwan during the RJD\u2019s 15-year rule in Bihar.<\/p>\n

\u201cLalu and his party raise slogans like \u2018Shahabuddin amar rahe\u2019, dream of \u2018jungle raj\u2019 but Bihar people won\u2019t allow these,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Addressing back-to-back rallies in Darbhanga, Motihari and Bettiah, Shah urged voters in Bihar to press the EVM button with the BJP\u2019s poll symbol \u2018lotus\u2019 to prevent the return of \u2018jungle raj\u2019 during the RJD rule that had \u201cdevastated\u201d the State.<\/p>\n

Champaran is witness to \u201chow Bihar\u2019s land remained blood-soaked during the RJD\u2019s \u2018jungle raj\u2019,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Shah also hit out at Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the opposition in the Lok Sabha, for organising the \u2018Voter Adhikar Yatra\u2019 in Bihar.<\/p>\n

\u201cI dare Rahul Gandhi to organise as many yatras as he can to protect infiltrators. We will drive out illegal immigrants,\u201d he claimed.<\/p>\n

Shah promised that if the NDA returns to power, the government will spend Rs 26,000 crore to harness the Koshi river water for irrigation and to prevent floods.<\/p>\n

\u201cPress \u2018lotus\u2019 button to prevent the return of \u2018jungle raj\u2019 that devastated Bihar during Lalu-Rabri\u2019s 15-year rule\u2026Murders, loots, kidnappings, and extortion will be common in the state again if you make a mistake on the November 6 voting day,\u201d the union minister alleged.<\/p>\n

Shah claimed that the NDA under Prime Minister Narendra Modi\u2019s leadership could only lead Bihar to all-around development.<\/p>\n

\u201cAltogether, Rs 26,000 crore will be spent to harness the Koshi river water to irrigate \u2018Mithilanchal\u2019 and prevent floods in the area if the NDA is voted to power in Bihar\u2026Water of the Ganga, Koshi and Gandak rivers will be utilised for irrigation and to prevent deluge in the state,\u201d the former BJP president said.<\/p>\n

If the NDA retains power in Bihar, people from Mithila, Koshi, and Tirhut will not be required to go to Patna or Delhi for treatment, as they will get quality medical facilities at AIIMS-Darbhanga, he said.<\/p>\n

Shah claimed, \u201cAs many as 3.60 cr people have been covered with free health insurance up to Rs 5 lakh crore, while the IT park at Darbhanga will employ the youth.\u201d<\/p>\n

He slammed the RJD for its complaint to the Election Commission, seeking a pause on the Rs 10,000 benefit for \u2018Jeevika Didis\u2019, alleging that \u201cthree generations of Lalu won\u2019t be able to snatch funds transferred\u201d to the self-help groups.<\/p>\n

Reiterating that the RJD-Congress insulted \u2018Chhathi Maiya\u2019, the prime minister and his mother, Shah said people of Bihar will \u201cavenge the insult by showing the exit door to such political parties\u201d in the upcoming elections.<\/p>\n

\u201cBihar people never forgive those who insult \u2018Chhathi Maiya\u2019. The RJD-Congress will be wiped out in the Bihar polls,\u201d Shah claimed.<\/p>\n

If NDA retains power in Bihar, each district will get one engineering, one medical college in the next five years, he promised.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Asserting that real development could take place only under the Nitish Kumar and Narendra Modi regimes, he said, \u201cAs many as 423 companies inked pacts for Rs 1.80 lakh crore investment in Bihar during the business summit. Approval for a new airport at Raxaul has been given, while an auditorium will be built at Motihari.\u201d<\/p>\n

He said the land of Champaran is linked to Goddess Sita and Lord Ram, and \u201cwe will boost religious tourism here\u201d.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Shah announced from Mahatma Gandhi\u2019s \u2018karma bhoomi\u2019 Champaran that Naxalism will be wiped out from the country on March 31, 2026.<\/p>\n
