On the solemn occasion of 10th Youm-e-Ashoora, the Ehsaas Foundation, a well-known NGO working for social welfare in Jammu and Kashmir, organised a Sabeel-e-Hussain at Alamgari Bazar, Srinagar, to commemorate the supreme sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala.<\/p>\n

The sabeel served water, sherbet, and refreshments to hundreds of mourners and passers-by, symbolizing the values of compassion, selflessness, and service that Imam Hussain (AS) stood for.<\/p>\n

Volunteers from the foundation were seen actively involved throughout the day, offering support and ensuring smooth arrangements.<\/p>\n

Speaking on the occasion, members of the Ehsaas Foundation said, “This initiative is a small tribute to the legacy of Karbala, a reminder of the values of truth, justice, and sacrifice. Imam Hussain (AS) taught us that standing against oppression and upholding humanity are eternal principles.”<\/p>\n
