Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir National People\u2019s Front (JKNPF) has launched a scathing attack on the current administration, accusing it of completely failing the people of the Union Territory. JKNPF President Muneer Khan, in a strongly worded statement, said that the ongoing power tussle between the Central Government and the UT administration has reduced governance to a joke and left the common man abandoned and betrayed.<\/p>\n

Khan expressed outrage over the plight of thousands of young entrepreneurs who, even after completing all formalities and securing approvals from the Industrial Department, have been waiting for over nine months for land allotments. The administration\u2019s excuse \u2014 that there are no financial resources \u2014 is not just laughable, but exposes the hollow claims of development being parroted in political speeches. \u201cThis is criminal negligence. You can\u2019t claim to empower youth while simultaneously blocking their future,\u201d Khan said.<\/p>\n

Taking aim at the dismal condition of educational institutions, Khan said almost all colleges across J&K are running dry. \u201cThere are no proper facilities, no adequate teaching staff, and no vision. Students are being made to suffer in silence while the government pretends everything is fine. The situation is worse than what meets the eye,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Khan stressed that this failure isn\u2019t limited to one sector \u2014 the rot runs deep in every department. From health to employment, from infrastructure to education, the system is paralysed. \u201cThis administration is interested only in headlines and photo ops. There is no accountability, no planning, no will to deliver. The people of Jammu & Kashmir have been left at the mercy of an indifferent regime,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Calling for urgent corrective measures, Khan demanded that the government either act immediately or stop fooling the people with hollow announcements. \u201cIf you cannot govern, then stop pretending. Let those who care about the people take charge. The patience of the people is not infinite, and the youth of J&K will not remain silent for long,\u201d he warned.<\/p>\n
