Srinagar, July 02: The scorching heatwave has taken a toll on the women of Kralpora village in Qaziabad Kralgund,who have been grappling with a severe water shortage for the past 10 days. In view of this, protests are increasing across the state.<\/p>\n

The protesting residents said that they were facing tremendous hardships due to the non-availability of water from past several months. \u201cWe are being deprived of drinking water from last several months.<\/p>\n

As many as 50 women took to the streets on Wednesday with empty buckets and utensils to demonstrate against the severe crisis of drinking water.<\/p>\n
