Anantnag, June 19: The 40th Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) organized a free medical camp on Thursday in the Palpora village of South Kashmir\u2019s Anantnag district.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Around 200 persons, including women and children, were examined by a team of doctors and provided with free medicines.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The medical team consisted of two to three doctors who attended to the patients throughout the day.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are here to help the locals as much as possible. We hope to continue organizing such camps in the future. Serving the people is our priority,\u201d a CRPF official said.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
A CRPF spokesperson said that the initiative is aimed at supporting the general public\u2014especially those from economically weaker sections\u2014by providing them with accessible healthcare and essential facilities.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
