{"id":88634,"date":"2025-06-01T23:42:14","date_gmt":"2025-06-01T18:12:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/?p=88634"},"modified":"2025-06-01T23:42:14","modified_gmt":"2025-06-01T18:12:14","slug":"speaker-to-discuss-functioning-of-house-committees-tomorrow","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/index.php\/2025\/06\/01\/speaker-to-discuss-functioning-of-house-committees-tomorrow\/","title":{"rendered":"Speaker to discuss functioning of House Committees tomorrow"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>9 chairpersons\/chairmen, top officials to atten<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Srinagar, June 01 (KNO): The Speaker of the Jammu &amp; Kashmir Legislative Assembly has convened a meeting with chairpersons of different House Committees on Monday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sources told news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that Speaker Abdul Rahim Rather has called a meeting on Monday with heads of nine House Committees constituted recently to perform functions prescribed to them under the Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business in J&amp;K Assembly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe meeting would discuss functioning of the Financial and other committees,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Those asked to attend the meeting include Sham Lal Sharma, Chairman Committee on Public Accounts; Shamim Firdous, Chairperson Committee on Estimates; Ali Mohammad Sagar, Chairman Committee on Public Undertakings; Sajad Gani Lone, Chairman, Committee on Government Assurances; Muhammad Yousuf Tarigami, Chairman Committee on Environment; Surjeet Singh Slathia, Chairman Ethics committee; Nizam-ud-din Bhat, Chairman Committee on Privileges;.
