{"id":88608,"date":"2025-05-31T23:28:12","date_gmt":"2025-05-31T17:58:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/?p=88608"},"modified":"2025-05-31T23:28:12","modified_gmt":"2025-05-31T17:58:12","slug":"traffic-on-gurez-bandipora-and-mughal-road-closed-due-to-fresh-snowfall","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/index.php\/2025\/05\/31\/traffic-on-gurez-bandipora-and-mughal-road-closed-due-to-fresh-snowfall\/","title":{"rendered":"Traffic on Gurez-Bandipora and Mughal Road Closed due to Fresh Snowfall"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, May 31 (JKNS): Authorities on Saturday suspended traffic movement on Gurez-Bandipora road and Mughal Road following fresh snowfall at Peer Ki Gali and Razdan Top.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>An official from traffic department told news agency JKNS that due to snowfall at Razdan Top, movement along the Gurez-Bandipora road has been halted as a precautionary measure. &#8220;Traffic will remain suspended till further orders,&#8221; he added.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Mughal Road, which connects Poonch and Rajouri with Shopian, has also been blocked due to fresh snowfall at Peer ki Gali, officials confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Official further said that passenger traffic is plying from both sides, from Jammu towards Srinagar and vice versa and HMVs are plying from Jammu towards Srinagar on Jammu-Srinagar NHW (NH-44).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Weather heavy rain on whole NH-44.
