The baby girl Asha Noor and another civilian, Mohd Shuaib, were also killed in the shelling,\u201d officials confirmed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The child\u2019s mother and father were critically injured and have been evacuated to hospital for treatment. Their condition is being closely monitored.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Security agencies have cordoned off the affected locations, and further shelling has been reported from forward areas, prompting fresh advisories for residents to stay indoors.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Reacting to the incident, Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives, saying the death of a senior officer and innocent civilians was a devastating tragedy.
