{"id":88136,"date":"2025-05-04T23:53:52","date_gmt":"2025-05-04T18:23:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/?p=88136"},"modified":"2025-05-04T23:53:52","modified_gmt":"2025-05-04T18:23:52","slug":"labbaik-allahumma-labbaik-emotional-scenes-witnessed-as-the-first-batch-of-178-pilgrims-departs-from-srinagar-haj-house","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/index.php\/2025\/05\/04\/labbaik-allahumma-labbaik-emotional-scenes-witnessed-as-the-first-batch-of-178-pilgrims-departs-from-srinagar-haj-house\/","title":{"rendered":"Labbaik Allahumma Labbaik\u201d Emotional scenes witnessed, as the first batch of 178 pilgrims departs from Srinagar Haj House"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Srinagar, May 04 (KNO): Tears, prayers, and heartfelt farewells marked an emotional morning at the Haj House in Bemina as the first batch of 178 Hajj pilgrims from Jammu and Kashmir began their spiritual journey to the holy city of Makkah on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>As morning rose in Srinagar city, families gathered to bid goodbye to their loved ones, many of whom were undertaking the sacred pilgrimage for the first time.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Shujhat Quershi, Executive Officer (EO) of J&amp;K Haj Committee, Bemina Srinagar, informed the news agency\u2014Kashmir News Observer (KNO), that among the 178 pilgrims are 96 men and 82 women, all traveling in accordance with religious requirements.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He said the first flight, under number SG-5304, is scheduled to take off from Srinagar International Airport later today.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPilgrims were asked to report to Haj House between 5:00 AM and 5:30 AM, where final preparations were made,\u201d Dr. Shujhat said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the Bemina Haj House in Srinagar, emotions were running high, and tears were streaming down from every eye as people came to bid farewell to their beloved.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have waited our whole life for this moment.
