{"id":86242,"date":"2025-02-15T00:45:25","date_gmt":"2025-02-14T19:15:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/?p=86242"},"modified":"2025-02-15T00:45:25","modified_gmt":"2025-02-14T19:15:25","slug":"soldier-hit-by-gunfire-along-loc-in-jammu","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.khushalekashmir.com\/index.php\/2025\/02\/15\/soldier-hit-by-gunfire-along-loc-in-jammu\/","title":{"rendered":"Soldier hit by gunfire along LoC in Jammu"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jammu, Feb 14: An army personnel was injured by a gunfire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Akhnoor sector near here on Friday, security officials said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The soldier was manning a forward post in Battal area when he received a bullet apparently from across the border, the officials said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>They said that the injured was immediately evacuated to the hospital where he is responding positively to the treatment.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is premature to say whether the Pakistan Army or terrorists were involved in the firing, the officials said.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Several incidents of cross-border actions, including an IED attack by suspected terrorists and a ceasefire violation by Pakistan, were witnessed along the LoC over the past week.
