However, instead of removing the problematic lower 8 (L8) tooth, the doctor mistakenly extracted his healthy upper eighth tooth.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Expressing distress over the incident, Nadeem Ahmad said he was left in shock and disappointment over the incident.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>When contacted, Principal Dental College Dr. Aijaz confirmed that the matter has been taken up with Head of the Department (HoD) Dr. Irshad Misgar. &#8220;An investigation will be conducted, and if the doctor is found guilty, appropriate action will be taken,&#8221; he assured.
