Led by Food Safety Officers Mr. Abid Bashir, Syed Dilpazir, Khalid Bashir, and Hakeem, the team initiated eight challans under Section 56 of the Food Safety and Standards Act, which will be submitted to the court. One vendor has been recommended for compounding.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The inspections revealed several roadside vendors failing to maintain required hygiene and sanitary standards. Vendors were educated on the importance of protecting prepared food from environmental hazards and pests. They were also instructed to implement pest control measures and to avoid setting up temporary stalls near drains.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>This initiative underscores the organisation&#8217;s commitment to enforcing compliance with the Food Safety and Standards Act and safeguarding public health.
