Srinagar, Feb 08 (JKNS): Director School Education Kashmir, G.N. Itoo, on saturday said the department is examining the ASER 2025 survey findings, and a roadmap is being prepared while a team has been constituted to address infrastructural and learning gaps.<\/p>\n

Talking to media persons in Srinagar, as per news agency JKNS, Director School Education Kashmir, G.N. Itoo, said the department is examining the ASER survey and has constituted a team to address gaps.<\/p>\n

On the recent ASER 2025 survey, which showed a grim picture of schools in terms of infrastructural gaps and learning outcomes, Itoo said, “We are examining it, and DSEK has constituted a team. A meeting was also held at the administrative level, and JKBOSE, SCERT, and the Directorate were directed to come up with a roadmap addressing infrastructural gaps and capacity building of teachers.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Teams are on it, and we are sure we will submit a comprehensive roadmap to the government. The government is also serious about it.”<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“But I can also say there are good things in the survey as well. We have been doing well at certain levels compared to the national level.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“However, wherever we are weak, we have coordinated with Kashmir University, SCERT, JKBOSE, and NGOs, as they are experts in learning outcomes.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
