Awantipora, Jan 1 (JKNS): Awantipora Police, along with security forces, have arrested four terrorist associates of the proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad in Tral on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
A police spokesperson in a statement issued here to news agency JKNS reads that, Awantipora police along Security forces have arrested four terrorist associates of proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad in Tral.<\/p>\n
The arrested individuals have been identified as Mudasir Ahmad Naik, son of Farooq Ahmad Naik, a resident of Tral Payeen; Umar Nazir Sheikh, son of Nazir Ahmad Sheikh, a resident of Kuchmulla; Inayat Firdoos Rather, son of Firdoos Ahmad Rather, a resident of Tral Payeen; and Salman Nazir Lone, son of Nazir Ahmad Lone, a resident of Kounserbal Tral, it reads.<\/p>\n
Incriminating materials linked to the terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad were recovered from their possession.<\/p>\n
Police stated that the arrested individuals were involved in providing logistical support and transporting arms and ammunition for active terrorists operating in Tral and Awantipora areas.<\/p>\n
