Sopore, November 30:- The Sopore Police recently organized a Sports Festival at the Soin Sadnar Sports Stadium in Rafiabad, featuring a friendly cricket match. The event, which drew a significant crowd, saw the Sopore Police Cricket Team face off against the Soin Cricket Club.<\/p>\n
After winning the toss, the Soin Cricket Club elected to bat first, setting a challenging target of 137 runs in 18 overs. The Sopore Police team, despite a strong start, couldn’t quite chase down the target, falling short by 25 runs.<\/p>\n
SP Sopore, Smt. Divya D-IPS, graced the occasion as the chief guest. In her address, she commended the youth for their active participation in sports and highlighted the importance of police-community collaboration in addressing social issues like drug abuse. She emphasized the role of sports in promoting healthy lifestyles.<\/p>\n
