The President of India\u2019s official X account shared a post informing about the meeting between the two leaders.
\n\u201cChief Minister of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Shri Omar Abdullah called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,\u201d shared the official account of the President of India.
\nThis visit marks a significant step in Chief Minister Omar Abdullah\u2019s official engagements since taking office as the Chief Minister of the Jammu and Kashmir Government last month.
\nIn recent weeks, he has held discussions with top leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Union Minister of Roads, Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari. Yesterday, he also met Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar.
\nThe Chief Minister is scheduled to meet Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman tomorrow.
