BUDGAM, NOVEMBER 05: Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Masood today visited district Budgam and took overall assessment of the developmental profile of the district.
\nDuring the visit, the Minister chaired a high level meeting with senior officers of district administration and reviewed the progress of various ongoing projects in the district.
\nThe meeting was attended by MLA Chadoora, Ali Mohammad Dar; MLA Beerwah, Dr. Shafi Ahmad Wani; Director School Education Kashmir, Director Colleges, Director Health Services Kashmir, district officers of all departments, heads of all engineering wings and other officers of the district administration.
\nDuring the meeting, the Minister held department wise review and took detailed appraisal of ongoing works under different schemes and projects in these departments.
\nAddressing the officers during the meeting, the Minister remarked that the present government is peoples government and totally committed towards welfare of public. \u201cOur government is peoples government and we are committed to their welfare and answerable to them at every step\u201d, Sakeena Masood said.
\n\u201cFacilitate public at each level and solve their issues and problems with sincerity and dedication in prompt manner\u201d, she said.
\nWhile reviewing the health sector in the district, the Minister directed the concerned CMO for early takeover of new building at CHC Chattergam from the executing agency. She took strong note of lackadaisical approach of district administration towards this matter and directed the concerned officers to solve this issues promptly.
\nShe also called upon the concerned officers for establishing all basic facilities in the CHC for the public good.
\nSimilarly, Sakeena Masood also reviewed progress of different works in Jal Shakti, Rural Development, Social Welfare, Education and other departments. She directed the officers to work with zeal and zest so that ongoing works under various projects and schemes are taken to its logical end. She highlighted that these projects are crucial for enhancing district\u2019s overall growth and improving the living standards of locals here.
\nSakeena Masood reaffirmed that present dispensation is committed for empowering citizens of Jammu and Kashmir. \u201cOur focus remains on creating opportunities for all, especially for women, youth and marginalized communities.
