Ramban, Nov 18 (KNC): One person dies while two others were rescued after a truck skidded off the road and plunged into a deep gorge in the Nachlana area along the Srinagar-Jammu National Highway on Tuesday.
An official told news agency Kashmir News Corner — KNC that two persons trapped in the vehicle were rescued by Quick Response Teams (QRT), Ramban Police, and personnel of 23 RR, who immediately launched a rescue operation in the challenging terrain.
The identity of the deceased and the driver’s whereabouts are yet to be confirmed.
Cognizanceof the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated. (KNC)
